The Wild Bee Peace

Hey There

Welcome to The Wild Bee!  I am so very excited to welcome you to my website!  It has been a dream of mine to sell my creations.  Browse around and check out what I have created. Peace, love and light from me to you!

I decided to start making my own products due to my sensitive skin.  I was having such a hard time finding lotions and soaps that did not break my skin out.  I started doing research on the chemicals that are added to products on the market.  I knew that I could come up with good products that are good for your skin and do not contain harsh chemicals.

I have spent years working on my formulas.  I had no idea what I was doing in the beginning.  I have learned so much over the years.  All my ingredients are all natural and environmentally safe.  Mother Earth is so very important to all of us.  We need to do our part in helping keep our environment clean and safe.  I use sustainable packaging, when possible, for my products.  The materials that I wrap my products in to ship are recycled brown paper.  The packing peanuts are environmentally friendly, made from starch-based, annually renewable resources.  They disintegrate in water and leave no harmful residue.

I started growing a few organic herbs that I wanted to infuse in oils to make my products.  Well, that took off!  One herb grew into two herb gardens.  The herbs are amazing.  There are so many uses for them.  I also started a organic garden and orchard.  The garden was huge!  I have been growing and canning 1000's of jars of food for years.  We had our own grocery store in the back room.

I also became a beekeeper.  This is a real passion of mine.  The honey bees are amazing!  They do such a wonderful job of pollinating all of our fruits and vegetables.  Without the bees, we will not exist.  I collect the honey and beeswax and use them in my products.

The herbs I do not grow, I forage from the mountains.  I love to forage!  I have spent the last few weeks, driving around, looking for elderberries that are blooming.  I will go back in the fall and collect the berries.  I also forage for Mullein and Jewelweed.  Mother Earth provides many plants and herbs that we can use on a daily basis.

In 2012, I fell, broke my wrist and was diagnosed with RSD/CRPS Type II.   RSD?? What in the world is that?  That is what I said to myself  when my doctor told sat me down and said this is what you have.  I fell while cleaning a ceiling fan in my home.  The first doctor that I went to, casted my arm broke.  He did not think it was broke. I trusted him. Well, it was broke.  By the time I traveled to a new city, went into the ER with pain so bad that I could not think straight or sit stil, the damage from the cast was done.  I had severe nerve damage in my hand and wrist.  It had already traveled up my arm and in my arm pit. RSD is a rare disease that effects the nervous system.  RSD (Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy) is a severely disabling condition that usually affects the limbs, after injury or surgery. The main symptoms are severe pain, swelling, loss of range of motion, temperature changes, and changes in the skin. Although RSD can occur anywhere in the body, it usually affects an arm, leg, hand, or foot.  RSD is rare and there is no cure.   There is no known treatment.

Unfortunately, RSD can spread and has.RSDS has spread up my arm into my neck and head.  It then decided to spread down into my chest, spine, hips and legs.  I plan on fighting that every step of the way.  I have been very active and busy over the years.  RSD caused everything to come to a screeching halt.  The pain is overwhelming, every single minute, every single second, of every single day and night.   My doctor did warn me and tried his best to prepare me.  There is nothing to prepare you for this type of pain.  Nothing.  It tries to consume you and swallow you whole.  There is no known treatment that works and there is no cure.

Life can really throw you some punches!  But, I punch back!  I decided that I was not going to be defined by RSD.  I will run my life, not RSD!

I have had some major life changes, that is for sure.   I just relocated to a new state and am starting my life over.  It has been a struggle and, honestly, terrifying.  Knowing that my health is not good and will not get better.  Isn't that what life is about though?  Life is always changing and you have to go with the flow, right?

I hope you enjoy my creations as much as I enjoy making them! Peace, love and light!
